Bucket Cat — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 June 2026 · A Warp Graph LLC app
Bucket Cat is a private, offline-first app for capturing, owning, and graphing your own data. This policy describes how Bucket Cat handles your information. It is a placeholder for a product in development and will be finalized before public release.
Your data stays yours
Everything you capture in Bucket Cat is stored on your device first. If you choose to connect a cloud account (for example your Google Drive), your data syncs to your own account under your own credentials. Warp Graph LLC does not operate a server that stores your captured content, does not receive a copy, and does not sell your data.
What the app accesses (and why)
Camera — to capture photos you choose to add. Images are saved to your device and the dataset you assign them to.
Photo library — when you import existing images. Only the images you select are read.
Location / photo metadata (EXIF) — photos may include location and capture metadata. This stays attached to your data on your device / your cloud; you can edit or strip metadata fields before syncing.
Connected cloud storage — if you connect a provider, the
app requests access limited to files it creates (e.g. Google Drive’s
app-scoped drive.file permission). Access tokens are stored
securely on your device. You can disconnect at any time.
Diagnostics
We may process limited, non-identifying diagnostic information to fix crashes and improve reliability. Specifics will be listed here before launch.
Third-party services
Any cloud provider you connect is governed by that provider’s own privacy policy and terms.
